We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to become a part of team! You will be responsible for managing HR activities for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain department records & reports. Maintain employee files, organizational charts and employee rosters. Participate in management, staff and other meetings as required and requested.
  • Provide benefits and payroll administration completing necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with company audit requirements
  • Processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now, which includes ensuring timecards are properly submitted with all OT hours & on-call hours are paid accordingly, vacation and sick time are paid & tracked in the system. Answering payroll questions, facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors.
  • Manage talent acquisition process including sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding. Also conduct exit interviews.
  • Oversee the company's 401K & Profit-Sharing Account - respond to employee inquiries about their retirement account and assist in the fair distribution of Profit Sharing allocation
  • Oversee company annual performance evaluation, ensuring that employees get a fair performance evaluation and salary merit/adjustment commensurate to performance scores.
  • Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies & procedures. Prepare and maintain employee handbook on policies & procedures.
  • Perform benefit administration to include change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness and claims resolution.
  • Plan, organize and control all activities of the HR Department. Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Counsel managers & employees consistent with company policies, legal considerations, etc. Facilitate resolution of employee related issues.
  • Consult with managers & employees on training and development needs
  • Work with supervisors & managers to assess division/department staffing requirements; develop cost effective recruiting strategies; screen applicants and make appropriate hiring and offer recommendations. Assist managers in developing job descriptions
  • Develop salary structures and/or conduct special compensation studies based on local market values
  • Work closely with upper management to ensure success of human resources programs. Notify the President f any major problems affecting Human Resources operations and the maintenance of positive employee relations; recommend changes in Human Resources policies/procedures.
  • Facilitate organizational assessment and development of strategies and tactics to address current issues and future needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or other related fields
  • Experience in conflict resolution 
  • Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws 
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong leadership qualities
