Overview

Senior Business Analyst role at LabVantage Solutions, Inc, located in Whippany, NJ. This position focuses on developing and implementing appropriate methods for capturing and documenting customer business requirements for system development, third party software integrations and external database interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing appropriate methods for capturing and documenting customer business requirements for system development, third party software integrations and external database interfaces.


• Analyzing requirements and documenting using tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc).


• Creating workflows, storyboards, use case scenarios.


• Conducting and facilitating customer workshops for information gathering.


• Collaborating with Application Designer and Application Programmers to implement customer’s solutions.


• Preparation of functional requirements specification (FRS). Ensure that proposed FRS and corresponding design is within acceptable timeline.


• Collaborating with Project Management on project issues, concerns, schedules of deliveries and completion of estimates.


• Conduct system reviews and gather feedback from customer on required changes, ensure that changes are documented and tracked.


• Provide input to the Project Manager on any change orders requested by the customer.


• Ascertain impact analysis and risk documentation for the changes discussed.


• Provide support to customers in validation and UAT phase and document all exceptions.


• Own, create and enhance enterprise templates for requirements collection and best practices.


• Improve Knowledge management system by contributing to knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Education: Master Degree in Computer Science & Engineering, or related major. Employer will accept Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related major plus five years progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or related in lieu of the Master Degree. Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable. Foreign academic equivalence acceptable.


• Experience: Six months experience in the job offered, or related.


• Required Skills: Experience in Bioanalytical testing. Experience in configuring Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) to support computational methods in drug discovery using Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) techniques and real-time control and automation of testing procedures. Experience in building US Pharmacopeia (USP) testing methods used to examine products during development using mRNA technology to support compliance to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FDA guidelines.
