General Function:
The Project Support Technician assists in the management of Digital Learning and Technology projects.
Education/Training/Experience
Minimum: High School Diploma, with a minimum of 1 year of project planning/management experience, preferably within a K-12 environment.
Preferred: Associates Degree in Project Management or a field directly related to the functions of this position, three or more years of project planning/management experience within a K-12 environment.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
Essential Job Functions:
Performs all functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety and environmental regulations, facility and computer security policies and procedures. Functions are subject to change from time to time to meet the needs of the organization. Current essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Salary Range and Benefits:
$32,000-$42,000+ Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to full and part-time employees that work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Resources Used in Performing Job Include (but are not limited to):
Standard office and classroom equipment, including computers, tablets, apps, copiers, fax, phone system, alarm system. Automobile to travel to other district buildings.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
Walking, standing. Alternate high energy with long periods of time sitting in meetings. Travel to
community/district meetings and events. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Environmental Conditions:
Work is performed both in classrooms and in a standard office environment. Position requires driving among school sites to attend meetings and trainings, some of which occur in the evening. Heavy telephone and interaction with, district staff and community. Frequent interruptions.

- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple operating systems including Windows and Chrome OS
- Demonstrates knowledge of Google and Microsoft suites.
- Demonstrates knowledge of single sign on platforms such as ClassLink
Essential Job Functions:

- Responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and tracking of Digital Learning/Technology projects.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure projects are implemented with fidelity.
- Ability to learn new technology and keep informed about the latest technological advances
- Facilitate open and consistent communication around technology between sites and departments.
- Provide frequent updates on current projects.
- Provides support to other teams within Technology as needed
- Works effectively as part of a team as well as individually
- A strong focus on customer service and quality assurance
- Continue to enhance skill set by completing department assigned professional development
- Seek and maintain appropriate certification, related to the position such as PMP, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
