Pend Oreille Veterinary Service is looking to add a full- or part-time associate to our exceptional team.
Established in 1964, we are a thriving privately owned small animal practice committed to providing high quality medicine and surgery to the Ponderay/Sandpoint area.
We have seven veterinarians on staff (4 full-time, 3 part-time) who work closely with highly trained support staff in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
We have a recently built facility designed with the help of a veterinary architect to meet our clients' and patients' needs in a friendly, comfortable, and fear-less environment.
The facility is complete with a large surgical suite, dental suite, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, fully stocked pharmacy, therapeutic laser and much more.
We also have a separate boarding, training and grooming facility. With over 50 years of service, we strive to build client and community relationships while providing top-notch care.
We are seeking an associate who is committed to those goals and our core values of team work and legendary service. We are looking for an individual with 3+ years of experience. Special interests (orthopedic, dentistry, internal medicine) are encouraged, though a well-rounded knowledge base is a must. We offer a competitive benefit package including production pay with a base salary, medical and dental insurance, 401k with matching percentage, CE allowance, paid vacation and liability insurance. The town is located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, a 43 mile-long lake offering abundant opportunities for boating, watersports, fishing or just relaxing on the beach.
