Your Role and Responsibilities
As a CNA your responsibilities will include:
Daily Care Assistance:
Support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and feeding.
Comfort Measures:
Provide therapeutic services such as baths, ice packs, or dressings to enhance client comfort.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track vital signs, food/fluid intake, and elimination, and communicate changes in condition to healthcare professionals.
Mobility Support:
Assist clients with movement and repositioning; Hoyer lift use is essential.
Emotional Support:
Offer companionship and build trust, creating a safe and supportive environment for each client.
Collaboration:
Partner with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.
Environmental Maintenance:
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe setting for clients.
Requirements and Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum of 6 months of CNA or Caregiver experience preferred
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, calm demeanor in high-pressure or fast-paced settings
Reliability, punctuality, and a client-centered attitude
