Job Title: .NET Architect Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite) Type: Temporary Department: IT Experience Level: Mid-LevelPosition OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced .NET Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise-wide solutions in a .NET environment. The role requires a strong foundation in cloud-based architecture, secure coding practices, and enterprise integration. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of IT experience, including three years in enterprise architecture, and a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development: Design and develop web-based applications using C#, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs.Cloud-Based Solutions: Architect and manage cloud-based systems using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.System Architecture: Lead the design of multi-tier architectures, applying Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and best practices.High-Performance Systems: Create and maintain scalable, high-transactional systems to meet business objectives.Identity Management: Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Azure and Active Directory.Project Leadership: Guide teams to align development initiatives with strategic goals and organizational standards.Development Environments: Maintain secure and efficient environments to support the software development (link removed)tegration Technologies: Utilize integration methods such as SOA, EDA, Microservices, and queue-based processing with RabbitMQ or MSMQ.Security and Compliance: Define and manage product roadmaps with a focus on security and compliance goals.Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with QA and development teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions while documenting architectural designs and ensuring governance standards.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Experience:At least 7 years of progressive IT experience, with 3 years in enterprise architecture.Expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, .NET Core, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.jsProven experience in RESTful API design and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google CloudTechnical Skills:Advanced knowledge of secure coding practices, CI/CD processes, and DevOps.Proficiency with integration technologies such as SOA, EDA, Microservices, and messaging systems (RabbitMQ or MSMQCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation expertise.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with Azure and AWS design, configuration, and management.Familiarity with enterprise architecture governance processes and SDLC methodologies.Ability to develop secure coding policies and (link removed)pensation and BenefitsPay Rate: $57 $60/hour 118,560 $124,800 annuallyBenefits:Long-term contract opportunity with potential extensions.
