Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) has immediate openings for full- and part-time Behavioral Health Technicians to support individuals in our brand-new Receiving Center (RC) - a first-of-its-kind initiative providing rapid response, short-term stabilization, and coordinated follow-up for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Be part of this exciting new program from the very beginning!We offer flexible scheduling for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Limited part-time 1st shift hours are also available.In addition to the base hourly pay, the following differentials apply:1st Shift: +$0.75/hour2nd Shift: +$1.25/hour3rd Shift: +$1.75/hourWeekend Days (Fri 3:00 pm - Mon 7:00 am): Additional +$1/hourAbout the Crisis Receiving CenterThe Hamilton County RC is a unique and innovative model designed to provide an alternative to emergency rooms or incarceration for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, trauma-informed environment while supporting client engagement, safety monitoring, and crisis de-escalation.Position Responsibilities For BH Technician:Provide observation, engagement, and crisis supportAssist with safety monitoring, de-escalation, and intake/orientationAccurately document client interactions and incidentsCommunicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamPromote trauma-informed and culturally competent care
