As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You'll work closely with physicians, residents, and nursing staff to support patient intake, assist with procedures, and manage front desk responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to function independently and take on leadership tasks within the MA team. Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on patient care including vital signs, intake, and documentation. Assist with patient history and communicate concerns or abnormalities to providers. Prepare exam and procedure rooms, including instruments for minor procedures. Collect lab specimens and complete requisitions with accuracy. Coordinate workflow among Medical Assistants and support referral authorizations. Perform front desk duties: registration, check-in, and scheduling. What We're Looking For
3+ years
of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a
family practice or pediatric setting . Comfortable rooming 1520 patients per day and keeping providers on schedule. Proficient in electronic health records and patient intake processes. Strong communication and multitasking skills. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or U.S. Armed Forces medical training. Medical Assistant diploma (certification/registration preferred). Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Experience with scheduling and patient check-in software. Work Schedule & Environment
4/10 schedule : Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00 AM 6:00 PM);
Tuesdays off . Work in a
non-hospital family practice clinic
alongside a supportive team of three other Medical Assistants. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
