Overview
Director, Business Solutions Architect
at Driscoll's — responsible for leveraging deep expertise in business operations, business process quality control, and technology to bridge business strategy and execution. The role analyzes the current state, designs the future state, and defines capabilities, phases, and high-level requirements across people, process, policy, and data, in collaboration with Global Information Services to ensure technology strategy enables the desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning, Analysis & Leadership:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Driscoll's business strategies and processes; analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape; lead strategic enterprise architecture initiatives; develop and manage a business capability roadmap aligned with priorities and technology strategy; collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to facilitate technology investment decisions; work with project managers to ensure alignment with business architecture; contribute to project execution and problem resolution.
Business Architecture Design:
Design and model business processes to create blueprints for technology systems; define the structure of business capabilities, processes, information and technology assets; anticipate future needs and propose architectural adjustments or new technology; act as a 'product owner' for key business systems with vision and roadmaps; prioritize backlogs and plan iterations with agile teams; ensure adherence to governance standards.
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership:
Build relationships with business and IT stakeholders; communicate complex ideas simply; lead change initiatives; drive digital transformation and adoption of emerging technologies to enhance competitive edge.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
Proven experience as a Business Solution Architect with a strong technical background in a complex business environment.
Deep process development and documentation expertise.
Extensive experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of business operations, process improvement methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Oracle Cloud and ERP experience.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Technical proficiency with enterprise architecture tools, agile methodologies, and project management software.
Experience designing and constructing business processes and their links to technology.
Excellent communication skills and ability to facilitate complex content to multi-level audiences.
Aptitude for driving standards and passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to think independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple deliverables.
History of confidently leading through uncertain, evolving situations.

Salary Range:
estimated for the Business Solutions Architect: $143,000 to $232,000 USD.
