Avant Gynecology is proud to be Atlanta's GYN and surgical specialists. With offices at Piedmont Hospital in Buckhead, Avant provides comprehensive gynecologic care and state-of-the-art surgery services. Our practice is seeking a full-time Gynecologist to join our team. We are looking for a physician who is a team player and adept at providing exceptional care to women at all stages of life.
Key Responsibilities Conduct routine gynecological exams such as pelvic exams, pap testing, breast exams, STD screening, etc. Perform office procedures such as colposcopy, LEEP, cryotherapy, endometrial biopsy, hormone pellet insertion, IUD, and contraceptive implant insertion/removal, etc. Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D&C’s, uterine ablations, Acessa, robotic surgeries, myomectomies, prolapse repair, etc. Counsel patients on contraceptive options, fertility treatments, lifestyle choices that impact reproductive health, hormone changes at different stages of life, etc. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on complex cases. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients. Skills and Qualifications MD Medical degree and completion of a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology State licensure and board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, or board eligible Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Empathy, communication, and ability to build trust with patients Proficiency in performing gynecological procedures and surgeries Knowledge of advancements and current research in women’s health Work as a team player with all staff members of a small office environment What Avant Offers Physician-owned practice with an experienced women’s health team including 2 MDs and 3 NPs Private practice setting with standard clinic schedule Monday-Friday Competitive salary with production bonus (Buy-in opportunity after 3 years) Generous benefits: health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, short-term disability Retirement plan: we offer a strong retirement package to help secure your future Call schedule: 1 week every 6 weeks (Great work-life balance with light call duty – hospitalists take walk-ins) Malpractice insurance provided
