Job Description:

IT Support Technician - (Virginia Beach, VA)

Apex Systems has an immediate need for a Tier I IT Support Technician in Virginia Beach, VA. This is an estimated "6+ Month Contract" opportunity supporting a major local government client on the East Coast. Please see below for all position details and how to apply.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of Help Desk or IT Support experience
• Ability to work on W-2 without sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls in a high-volume environment using RingCentral
• Create new cases in CRM system (Service Cloud) and attach knowledge articles
• Assist with hardware, software, and application inquiries
• Provide contact information for other departments and transfer calls as needed
• Reset passwords via Active Directory
• Update focus groups within the student information system
• Reset two-factor authentication for individuals
