We are looking for Baristas to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages.
Hours are generally 2pm-9pm. You must be available to work weekends.
Responsibilities: Educating customers on our drink menu Making recommendations based on customer preferences Greeting customers as they enter Giving customers drink menus and answering questions regarding ingredients Up-selling special items and taking orders Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) Preparing beverages following recipes Serving beverages and prepared foods such as cookies, pastries and muffins Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards) Keeping work area clean Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates Checking to be sure brewing equipment is operating properly and reporting any maintenance needs Complying with health and safety regulations Requirements
Skills
Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress Hands-on experience with brewing equipment Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task Knowledge of sanitation regulations Basic math skills Ability to gauge customers' preferences Excellent communication skills Benefits include:
