Job Title: CT Technologist General Summary
Performs routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas following established practices and procedures.
Shifts: Days, evenings, and nights Duties and Responsibilities
Perform CT Scan Radiology studies, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns Administer intravenous contrast media under physician supervision Recognize and treat complications such as contrast reactions Schedule cases to coordinate with other examinations Position and transfer patients comfortably, immobilize patients as needed Practice radiation safety procedures and serve as on-call technologist Train new staff, passed CT specialty exam as per ARRT Perform duties of Radiographer as required Prepare and maintain documentation as per department requirements Qualifications
Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT upon hire Certified in Computed Tomography - NMTCB upon hire Basic Life Support certification upon hire Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in CT procedures upon hire Benefits Offered
