A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Golang Developer Position type: Contract Location: Plano, Texas Description: As a Golang Developer, you will :- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Golang microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC frameworks. Build efficient MongoDB queries and manage data operations following best schema design practices. Deploy, manage, and scale applications using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, and S3. Containerize services with Docker and manage deployments using Helm in Kubernetes environments. Implement observability using OpenTelemetry and maintain dashboards/alerts in Datadog. Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub Actions. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage in code reviews, and participate in agile ceremonies (standups, retrospectives, sprint planning). Required Qualifications: 7–9 years of experience in software development, with 4+ years of hands-on Golang expertise. Strong experience working with MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization. Proven experience deploying and operating applications in AWS cloud environments. Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for containerized workloads. Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and Datadog. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Comfortable with Linux scripting, TDD (Test-Driven Development), and Git-based workflows. Nice to Have: Experience in EV telematics, subscription services, or usage-based billing systems. Knowledge of payment gateways such as Stripe, Zuora, and familiarity with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or crypto payment integrations. Exposure to frontend development using Vue.js or React.js is a plus.
