Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Quality Assurance/Quality Control Director supporting Project Long Mott (Small Modular Nuclear Reactor). Your role As the Nuclear QA/QC Director for Dow, you will develop, implement, assess, and validate the quality of materials, procedures, and outputs within nuclear facilities to uphold safety, reliability, and compliance. You will be responsible for rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements across all facets of nuclear projects, including design, procurement, construction and operations. Responsibilities

Develop the processes and procedures to effectively implement nuclear quality assurance requirements. Create and enforce quality control protocols, policies and benchmarks to ensure alignment with regulations and industry standards. Inspect, audit, and evaluate nuclear materials, components and systems across project lifecycles to eliminate defects, drive improvements and ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B. Oversee tests, measurements and analysis on materials, machinery and structures to validate safety requirements. Collaborate with project leaders, engineers, suppliers and regulatory bodies to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Lead and/or participate in quality audits, certifications and assessments to validate adherence to established quality management systems and regulatory frameworks. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or relevant military experience at or above U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (e.g., nuclear power plant operation). Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%–30% annually; able to meet visa/immigration and other travel requirements. TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one may be required depending on final location. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available for this position. Additional Qualifications

Leadership experience and a track record of developing organizations and leading teams. 15+ years of relevant experience in nuclear quality systems. Experience working in a nuclear regulated environment. Your Skills

Quality Systems – Deep knowledge of QA/QC protocols, audits, and nuclear regulations. Analytical & Problem-Solving – Ability to identify quality issues and implement solutions. Attention to Detail – Precision in inspections, testing and evaluations. Technical Communication – Clear communication of technical findings with engineers, regulators and management. Nuclear Engineering Knowledge – Understanding of nuclear materials and safety standards across project phases. Project & Audit Management – Experience leading QA projects, audits and certifications. Continuous Improvement Mindset – Drive improvements and corrective actions across operations. Notes
