The Service Receptionist at BELLAMY STRICKLAND CHEVROLET GMC in Mcdonough, GA is the first point of contact for customers in the service department. This role is responsible for greeting guests, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service. The Service Receptionist supports the service team by ensuring smooth communication between customers, advisors, and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the service department.
Answer incoming calls, route to appropriate staff, or provide requested information.
Schedule service appointments and confirm upcoming bookings.
Provide accurate information about services, wait times, and dealership amenities.
Assist with customer check-in/check-out process, ensuring paperwork is complete.
Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
Collect and enter customer information into the dealership CRM or DMS system.
Support service advisors and management with administrative tasks.
Notify service advisors when customers arrive.
Update customers on vehicle status when directed by advisors.
Follow up on missed or rescheduled appointments when necessary.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
Strong communication skills (in person and by phone).
Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM/DMS systems a plus).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
