Job Title: Project Manager (Onsite)
Location: San Bernardino, California area

Overview:
Genesis Technical is seeking an experienced On-Site Project Manager to join a skilled executive team team for a $200M+ logistcs facility project, overseeing all phases from groundbreaking to closeout. Key responsibilities include active involvement in planning, project buyout, sequencing, and scheduling, with close collaboration with the superintendent(s). This position is open to candidates based in California.

Key Duties:

• Develop and implement site logistics and phasing plans.
• Collaborate with the project team to plan, sequence, and schedule projects.
• Assist with bid packages, preliminary schedules, and any other information required to receive responsive, competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage submittals, assist with project cost controls, and subcontractor pay requests/change orders
• Direct the project turnover documentation, warranty administration, project closeout, and record-keeping/retention processes and procedures.
• Promotes safety and supports our care for life value, ensuring adherence to safety expectations and standards for self and others' work.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.
• Assist the Superintendent in the management of subcontractors.
• Monitor and record training of all staff personnel.
• Monitor project labor.
• Report and track equipment needs.
• Implement applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs.
• Participate in the project's quality process.
• Contribute to project close-out processes.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of construction experience in roles such as pre-construction, project management, project engineering, or similar.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management is preferred, though equivalent work experience is also valued.
• Proficient understanding of general construction costs and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret pre-construction documents across various project types.
• In-depth knowledge of construction building principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Project, Word, and Excel.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and mul floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
