Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead IT delivery teams. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miramar, Florida, with international travel (approximately 30-50% annually).
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
What You'll Do
- Manage IT delivery teams, either directly or indirectly, as well as coach and mentor team members
- Collaborate with the Product Owner
- Manage client relationships and set appropriate expectations
- Facilitate ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and retrospection
- Schedule project meetings with meeting agendas and briefing materials
- Identify, track, and help remove impediments
- Lead project budget management
- Meet and update stakeholders to ensure easy and transparent communication regarding project issues and decisions based on the audience
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and team member performance
- Organize activities per the company's mission, standards, and goals
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What You'll Need
Required:
- Proven experience in managing IT delivery teams and projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members effectively
- Experience in collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to drive project success
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to set and manage expectations
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling meetings and managing project documentation
- Ability to identify, track, and resolve impediments to project progress
- Experience in managing project budgets and financial tracking
- Excellent communication, presentation, change management, and influencer skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the year, typically around 30%, and perform physical tasks as required
Preferred:
- Shipboard cruise experience is a plus
- Ship drydock experience is a plus
- Experience working in a construction environment is a plus
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
- Ability to go to ships, go up and down stairs (elevators are not always accessible), and walk extensively from one end of the ship to another
- Physical demands with activity may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- Require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling materials
The pay range for this position is $54.00- $60.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
