  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models to ensure project accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (sales, engineering, fabrication, field service) to drive projects forward.
  • Proactively address issues with contractors, suppliers, or internal stakeholders by proposing practical solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough project documentation, ensuring compliance with retention standards.
  • Support installation and commissioning, including occasional site travel for field measurements, training, or troubleshooting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance products and project execution.

What Success Looks Like
  • Confidence in managing multiple projects and priorities without losing focus.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to step into technical details when needed.
  • Clear and consistent communication with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to maintain composure under stress and keep projects on track despite challenges.
  • A collaborative approach, contributing to a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience in industrial equipment, capital projects, or mechanical systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Proven experience working with contractors, suppliers, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, bending, machining, etc.).
  • Exposure to conveyors, bulk handling, or rotating equipment (shafts, gearboxes, bearings).
  • Experience with electrical power, instrumentation, or controls.
  • ERP experience (Epicor a plus).
  • PMP certification or willingness to pursue.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
