Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Accountant to joing a global insurance company in Boston, MA. This role will require candidates to report into the office 4 days a week, with 1 day remote. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate GL accounting, preparinging financial statements/reports, supporting month/year end close, etc. If you're interested in learning more, please apply! Specific Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly general ledger journal entries. Monitor and maintain detailed accounts payable records and process the payment of all invoices in a timely and accurate manner. Complete accounting reconciliations including bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inter-company and technical underwriting balances. Maintain a monthly financial close timetable to ensure timely and accurate record keeping. Prepare financial analysis to support the activities of outsourced service providers. Drive continuous process improvement and efficiencies to position the finance function for growth. Support senior management in commercial and operational decision making. Support the activities of external auditors. Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures, controls and systems ensuring consistency and accuracy of application.
