Mathematics Teacher 2025-26 Academic Year
Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic committed Mathematics Teacher. This is a full-time, at- will position for the 2025-26 school year. The applicant would be expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The applicant must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
This is an at- will position for the 2025-26 Academic year
Salary Range: $45,000-$79,500 depending on education and background
Mullen reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range
Essential Job Functions:

Teaching
Intentional focus on student achievement.
Stimulate inquiry and engagement through project-based instruction
Prepare lessons based upon backwards design
Grade student work, and maintain/update grades
Build and maintain positive relationships with students and instructional teams
Utilize effective research-based instruction and evaluation
Utilize both formative and summative assessment for student mastery
Communicate effectively with students and families
Work outside the normal schedule periodically in collaboration with colleagues
Demonstrate competency in integrating technology into classroom teaching
Demonstrated competency of collaborative work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics is required; Master’s degree is preferred
Teaching certificate in Math
Strong commitment and desire to work with youth and adults in a collaborative environment
Enjoy the challenge of implementing new teaching methods and educational tools in an ever changing and strategic environment
Ability to utilize technology and integrate the use of technology to instruct and provide feedback on student's performance and development
Life-long learner, optimistic, flexible, and passionate about helping all students reach their potential
Open to change and possess skills that promote student achievement and growth.
