CityGreen Services is seeking an experienced and passionate Landscape Designer to join our team. The Landscape Designer will be responsible for developing comprehensive plans and designs for the aesthetic and functional layout of outdoor spaces, such as parks, recreational facilities, and public areas. The ideal candidate will be able to combine creativity with technical acumen, maintain an understanding of the ecological sustainability rules and practices, and have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and our in-house project team.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop comprehensive landscape plans via sketches, models, and detailed drawings in order to reflect client or project manager's ideas.
    • Conduct thorough analyses of site conditions like climate, soil type, water drainage, and light exposure.
    • Present concept and design plans to project managers and clients for approval, and actively engage in modifications as necessary.
    • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project for the successful implementation of landscape designs.
    • Oversee the progress and quality of work executed on-site to ensure final results are in accordance with originally approved plans and client expectations.
    • Stay current on landscape design trends, materials, and technologies in order to provide the best possible results to our clients.
Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in landscape design.
    • Proficiency with computer software programs including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modeling, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
    • A keen eye for design and detail with the ability to create visually appealing layouts that are also functional and environmentally sustainable.
    • Familiarity with local plants and the ability to effectively incorporate them into landscape designs.
    • A valid state driver’s license is required.
