Overview

This position is in Torrance, California. 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remotely. All applicants must currently live in California.

Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements that streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the success of implemented changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, and human resources to gather requirements, align objectives, and ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Documentation & Communication: Prepare detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams and business requirements, to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of operational projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to employees on new processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a business analysis or operations role, preferably within a service-oriented environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI. Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are advantageous.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in business operations within a technology or service-based industry.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with process improvement frameworks and methodologies.
  • Working Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
