As a Diesel Technician at SS Diesel & Auto, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality automotive services to our valued customers.
*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose and repair diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. * Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations. * Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues with electrical systems and components. * Conduct repairs on air brake systems and other critical vehicle systems. * Assemble and disassemble engine components as needed for repairs. * Use power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to diesel vehicles. * Ability to lift heavy equipment safely as required by the job. * Familiarity with air brake systems is essential. * Experience using power tools and industrial equipment effectively. * Basic welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
