VP of Construction - Hospitals and Higher Education Responsibilities We’re looking for a Leader to drive operational excellence, grow our footprint, and lead a top-tier team across our Boston region. Running this office, you'll be in charge of many things — Business Development, builder, strategist, mentor, and growth catalyst. You’ll oversee all construction project execution in your region, ensuring we deliver on time, on budget, and above expectation. You’ll also roll up your sleeves to drive business development, build lasting client relationships, and lead a team that thrives on excellence and innovation.
Take charge of multiple active projects — keeping safety, quality, schedule, and profitability top of mind.
Own the P&L for your region — track revenue, manage risk, and make smart decisions that fuel growth.
Identify and close new business opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
Partner with estimating and marketing teams to develop proposals that win.
Act as the face of First Finish in your market — building trust with clients, partners, and industry leaders.
Coach, inspire, and elevate your team — fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture.
Lead with transparency, drive accountability, and keep continuous improvement at the core of everything.
Qualifications
10+ years in commercial construction, main Focus on
Hospital/Healthcare and Higher Education.
Experience leading complex, schedule-driven, and fast-paced projects.
A proven ability to manage project budgets, mitigate risk, and lead diverse, high-performing teams.
Strong business acumen — you understand what drives profit, growth, and client satisfaction.
Comfortable in the boardroom and on the jobsite — you’re just as effective negotiating contracts as you are walking a punch list.
Proficiency in Timberline Sage, Procore, and other project management tools.
Please send your resume to Mike Hopkins at MHopkins@Libertyjobs.com and I'll send you full details on the company and position.
