mid-level Android Developer
to join our Application Engineering team in delivering high-quality Android mobile applications. You'll design, build, and maintain native Android apps with a focus on
performance, reliability, and clean architecture . This role involves tight collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement through agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Write clean and maintainable code using industry best practices. Participate in the full development lifecycle - from concept through maintenance. Debug issues and optimize app performance. Conduct unit and automated testing using Espresso and Android tools. Review code and contribute to a culture of code quality and technical excellence. Stay current with emerging tools, trends, and best practices. Ensure compliance with
security and data protection standards . Required Experience:
6+ years in
native mobile development , with a focus on Android. Strong proficiency in
Kotlin and Java . Experience with
Jetpack Compose , Android SDK, and UI principles. Developed and maintained Android libraries using
Gradle/Maven . Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party integrations. Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Fastlane. Exposure to multiple design patterns: MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean Architecture, etc. Strong unit and integration testing experience. Nice-to-Have Experience:
Familiarity with
Bluetooth, BT Profiles, OAuth 2.0, Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, External Accessory, iAP2 . Agile and test-driven development environments. Remote team collaboration and continuous integration. Understanding of
Google Play policies
and app release cycles. UX and accessibility standards in mobile app development. Required Skills:
