As a
Human Resource Assistant , you’ll play a key role in welcoming and onboarding new employees while helping shape and promote our company culture, values, and policies. You’ll collaborate with multiple warehouse locations and headquarters, ensuring smooth communication and operations across the organization. Plus, you’ll get to take part in employee events, recognition programs, and celebrations that make our workplace enjoyable and engaging. This is an
on-site
position in the Linden, NJ area. Core Duties: Coordinate interviews and support the hiring process for new team members.
Onboard and train employees, ensuring they feel confident and supported.
Maintain accurate HR files, records, and documentation; perform periodic audits for compliance.
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about policies, benefits, and HR processes.
Assist with payroll tasks, including processing, troubleshooting errors, and distributing checks.
Maintain attendance records and ensure smooth communication across all warehouse locations.
Support HR projects, special events, and daily administrative tasks.
Scan, organize, and manage paperwork efficiently and accurately.
Maintain office supply inventory and manage calendars for birthdays, holidays, and special events.
What We’re Looking For: Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential situations professionally.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a bonus!
