About the Role: We're looking for a Print Finishing Associate to join our Bindery Department! In this role, you'll assist with the finishing touches on print jobs-things like folding, stapling, binding, laminating, trimming, and more. You'll work closely with our Print Production Supervisor and learn different machines and processes that help bring high-quality print products to life. If you're detail-oriented, hands-on, and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operating finishing equipment such as folders, stitchers, laminators, shrink-wrap machines, and binders. Drilling, trimming, mounting, sewing, and grommeting materials like banners, posters, and booklets. Assisting with handwork tasks like folding, taping, and assembling bundles or boxes of printed materials. Ensuring machines are set up correctly and safety devices are always working. Learning new processes on the job through hands-on training and supervision. Helping maintain a clean, organized work area and notifying supervisors of supply or safety issues. Working independently while still being a strong team player. What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with bindery or print finishing equipment is required. Comfortable with basic math, fractions, decimals, and reading a ruler. Good finger dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly throughout the shift. Comfortable standing on your feet for the entire shift.
