About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of Software Engineering to lead a global organization with a focus on quality, infrastructure, SRE, and shared platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the engineering culture, attracting top talent, and driving transformation across the product portfolio. This critical role involves leading a team of engineering leaders and technical talent to design, build, and scale enterprise software solutions, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, and engineering innovation in AI, data processing, and cloud-native architectures. The SVP will also be expected to mentor and develop engineering leaders, foster a culture of accountability and transparency, and ensure that development efforts are aligned with customer needs and business priorities. Applicants for the SVP of Software Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles. A proven track record in scaling cloud-based enterprise platforms in a fast-paced SaaS environment is essential, as is experience with hyper scalers such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. The role requires a strong technical background in distributed systems, DevOps, and agile delivery methodologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being a plus. Valued qualifications include a background in data analytics, workflow automation, or platform engineering, and experience in leading organizations through digital transformation or platform modernization.
