Our business is growing, and we are looking for exceptional associates to help with the expansion of our business and are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative at our facility in McKenzie, TN.

The incumbent must lead by example and ensure that safety comes before all else. The incumbent works to epitomize McKenzie Valve's Quality Policy and to meet internal and external customer expectations always by fully applying oneself to the task involved, preventing errors, and developing and implementing personal quality improvement projects. In addition, the incumbent is required to understand the Responsible Care Management System and actively participate in activities outlined therein. The incumbent will support the company and employee values as well as support company's initiatives.
This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction while protecting internal business objectives, receiving and entering orders from customers. This person is also responsible for ensuring that price and delivery dates are correct prior to releasing delivery dates to the customer. This position requires analytical research of components using technical specifications and blueprints.
The incumbent is the company's primary interface with customers, with regards to sales and customer service. This person must be knowledgeable of the company's product lines and manufacturing processes. Must be able to satisfy customer requests in a professional manner while possessing the required tact and negotiation skills to avoid situations that are detrimental to the business. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a list of parts that are not shipped on time to identify reason for non-shipment to eliminate problem areas for future sales and shipments.
Requirements:
• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• Additional education is beneficial
• A minimum of three (3) years customer service experience in an industrial/manufacturing organization or within the valve industry is a plus
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detailed orientated and organized
• Excellent problem solving/negotiation skills
• Excellent data entry and proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
