DRAMA CO-ADVISOR
SY 2025-26
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with staff and students to manage all aspects of production, including casting, rehearsals, set design, costumes, props, and technical aspects (lighting, sound). Develop and maintain a production schedule, ensuring timely completion of all tasks. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their performances and projects. Promote a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and can contribute. Help students develop essential skills, including acting, public speaking, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. Work with the school administration to develop a budget for all activities and events. Organize and lead rehearsals. Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding drama club activities and productions. Maintain a safe and organized workspace. Attend school events and meetings as required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and community members
Availability to work after school hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
18 yrs of age (minimum) Washington State Patrol background/fingerprint check
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work in noisy and active environment
