Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency. 2+ years of experience in Java, Full-Stack, C#, .NET, and/or Python development. Experience with GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot. Skilled in writing and designing unit tests using TDD/BDD methodologies. Hands-on experience with service virtualization tools (e.g., WireMock, Mockito). Strong automation mindset with experience using tools like Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, or ReadyAPI. Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI. Experience with AWS serverless components (e.g., ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, SageMaker, Athena). Working knowledge of relational and object databases, RESTful APIs, and microservices. Experience in Agile development environments using tools like VersionOne/Agility. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and deployment skills. Excellent communication skills-both technical and non-technical. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in facing new technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications (Competitive Edge):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (with 4+ years of experience), or Master's degree in the same fields (with 2+ years of experience). Experience creating test reports using tools like Cucumber Report, Extent Report. Familiarity with OpenShift and MQ. AWS Certification(s). DevOps and/or test automation experience in code building, testing, and deployment. Experience in the airline industry (a plus). Working knowledge of Windows Server and HP-UX operating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop efficient software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Enhance and maintain on-premise and internal PaaS applications; assist with cloud migration to AWS. Implement serverless patterns from containerized applications. Build and manage APIs, ensuring standardization and scalability. Architect solutions optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Promote best practices in software craftsmanship, including TDD/BDD and CI/CD. Continuously improve performance through detailed metrics and monitoring Ensure adherence to security and privacy regulations from the outset. Identify, resolve, and prevent technical debt. Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives). Communicate technical information clearly and collaborate effectively across teams. Lead code reviews and improvement initiatives. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational playbooks. Balance usability and performance requirements. Support system maintenance, upgrades, and production troubleshooting.
