Construction Manager Job at Madden Industrial Craftsmen in Houston

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for a Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and site experience, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a direct hire role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
• Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
• Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage on-site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in construction management with a focus on project coordination.
• Familiarity with commercial retail projects is preferred.
• Proficient in using construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
