Job Description:
The Construction Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on job sites, supervising construction crews, ensuring safety compliance, and managing the workflow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.

· Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide work.

· Manage daily job site activities, including scheduling, material ordering, and resource allocation.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.

· Monitor job site progress and address any issues or delays immediately.

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

· Maintain communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

· Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

· Keep accurate records of daily work activities, crew attendance, and materials used.

· Lead team meetings to discuss project goals, milestones, and challenges.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Journeyman in the construction industry.

· Proven experience in both residential and commercial construction projects.

· Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· In-depth knowledge of California building codes and regulations.

· Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

· Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

· OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry at least 70 pounds.

· Ability to work in various weather conditions and in an active construction environment.

· Ability to stand, walk, and move around the job site for extended periods.
