Construction Manager Job at Cape Residential LLC in Durham

Responsibilities:Supervise and direct all construction activities for assigned homes and communities.Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of homes.Ensure homes are built to construction drawings, specifications, and local building codes.Maintain high standards of quality through all phases of construction.Manage construction timelines, budgets, and material deliveries using company systems (e.g., BuilderGM).Conduct daily job site inspections and address potential safety or compliance issues.Collaborate with internal teams including Purchasing, Sales, Design, and Customer Care.Provide timely and clear communication with homebuyers regarding the construction process and milestones.Close out homes with detailed final inspections and ensure a seamless handoff to the Sales team.Qualifications:Residential construction management experience, preferably in production homebuilding.Strong understanding of local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficient in construction management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structureComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matchPaid time off and company holidaysCareer advancement opportunities across multiple divisionsA strong, supportive company culture built on integrity, quality, and teamworkGrow your career with a company that builds homes, communities, and people.
