Five Diamond Development is hiring: Construction Superintendent in Tampa

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to oversee and manage numerous construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion
• Coordinate and oversee other superintendents, subcontractors and construction workers on-site
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
• Manage numerous job sites from single family homes to multifamily townhomes with units ranging from 4 to 30+.
• Self sufficient and able to work well under pressure handling various tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to do take offs on items needed in the field to get items completed in a timely fashion.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors on a daily basis and check/approve work for completion and quality.
• Create punch lists, manage completion and close out of projects.
• Schedule and complete all necessary inspections with the city during the project duration and create accurate daily reports to reflect progress and approvals.
• Ability to manage a daily and weekly schedule with management.
• Salary is based on the amount of projects that can be successfully managed. Base salary with bonus structure for project completion/performance, etc.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising construction projects
• Proficiency in using Construction schedules.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Familiarity with managing multifamily projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations including OSHA standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Someone with proven experience with managing multiple projects and other staff at one time.
