EBS is looking for an experienced Superintendent whose position is to act as the field representative from start to finish. The Superintendent is responsible for on-site project coordination of all construction activities from start to finish. The role includes full time on-site presence as the main point of contact for all parties involved including Owners, Clients, Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Full time on-site supervision 
• Schedule and coordinate daily job site activities such as subcontractors and material deliveries
• Review subcontractor progress payments with Project Manager
• Coordination of inspections and required testing
• Full quality control and adherence to the construction documents and specifications
• Formulate and distribute daily job reports
• Enforcement of any and all safety regulations
• Create two-week look-ahead schedules
• Review schedule and look-ahead schedules with subcontractors
• Review and implementation of all submittals including shop drawings, product data, calculations, mix designs, etc.
• Coordination of approved submittals amongst all subcontractors and vendors
• Participate in the development of the project schedule
• Identify project milestones
• Ensure that contractual requirements will be met
• Develop site logistics plan with Project Manager
• Monitor all project costs, including labor
• Conduct weekly safety toolbox talk meetings with all workers present on site

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of superintendent related experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• General knowledge of municipal permitting and building codes
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Detail oriented documentation skills
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Autodesk/BIM/Procure experience but not required
