About the Role:
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business opportunities in residential and commercial roofing and remodeling. This role focuses on building client relationships, generating leads, conducting consultations, and closing sales. Success in this position comes from a combination of strong communication, product knowledge, and consultative sales skills.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct in-home and on-site consultations with potential customers.
- Present roofing, siding, and remodeling solutions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, contracts, and pricing estimates.
- Meet or exceed sales goals by closing projects and expanding customer base.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth project handoff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in construction, roofing, or home improvement.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with homeowners and commercial clients.
- Basic understanding of construction and remodeling products and services.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
Desired Qualifications:
- Background in roofing, siding, remodeling, or building materials sales.
- Experience using CRM systems to track leads and sales activities.
- Bilingual communication skills.
- Familiarity with insurance claims and restoration sales.
