Job Title: Project Manager – Civil Site

Location: Columbus, IN

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial-minded Project Manager to join our growing Civil Site Group . This individual will lead and deliver innovative civil/site development projects across the Midwest. Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of civil/site projects from concept through completion.
  • Oversee project profitability, scheduling, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, delegating tasks effectively.
  • Direct and review design of site layouts, grading, drainage, roadways, utilities, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.
  • Ensure quality control at all project stages.
  • Participate in proposals, interviews, and presentations to secure new business.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, leveraging extensive industry contacts.
  • Collaborate with business development staff to identify and win new opportunities.
  • Work across multiple geographic markets including Indiana, Ohio, and beyond.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Minimum 7+ years of civil/site development engineering experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects including design, permitting, and client engagement.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience preparing proposals and delivering presentations.
  • Job stability and demonstrated career progression.

  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong business development background with ability to expand client base.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and team growth.
