We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Grandview. As a key member of our urgent care department, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging services to patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including radiographic studies and fluoroscopy exams, using digital fluroscope equipment.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Maintain proficiency in radiographic techniques and provide radiation safety for operators and patients.
- Process images for interpretation, critique images for quality, and repeat exams as necessary.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
- Registered with ARRT; ODH Ohio Radiologic License, BLS certification.
- Thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment, including proper technique and positioning, handling, and administering ionizing radiation.
- Superior customer service skills and ability to function as a team member with limited supervision.
