City: Indianapolis State: IN Start Date: Pending Privileges End Date: TBD Description: Physician MUST be able to work 12/22/25 - 1/1/2026. In 2026 the dates available are week on/week off (Monday - Monday) beginning January 12th. We do have one physician confirmed to work at least one week a month, so as long as your provider can work the 2025 dates (12/22/25 - 1/1/26), and at least 1 week per month in 2026, I will review. Physician MUST have a clean NPDB and no outstanding medical malpractice.General GI Hospitalist Model (7 day coverage), Monday - Monday, covering Community Hospital SouthBread and butter GI (no EUS/ERCP required)Anesthesia/MAC available (no conscious sedation required, but available if physician is comfortable)Likely shift hours are 8am - 4pm (or earlier depending on census), then pager callCommunity Hospital South is located on the South side of Indianapolis, in Greenwood. It is licensed for 170 inpatient beds (24 ICU beds). There is 24/7 internal medicine hospitalist service in the hospital and ER docs are board certified in emergency medicine. 1099 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request) Certification Requirements: Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
