*Qualifications:*

* High school diploma or GED * 6+ months on Quality Assurance, Sanitation or related fields. * Bi-lingual - Spanish / English. * Must exhibit proactive qualities, be self-directed. * Must be able to handle several tasks at once.

*Physical Qualifications:*

* Requires physical presence at the job. * Fast paced, high volume, detail oriented work environment. * The noise level in the work environment is usually extreme. * Requires extensive use of hands.

*Essential duties include, but are not limited to:*

* Monitors and documents key performance indicators and provides regular feedback to Supervisor and Manager. * Monitors and controls parameters in washing systems to ensure correct disinfection of products (pH, temperature, chemicals). * Inspect finished product, package, seal, codes and metal detector calibration. * Ability to identify and suggest corrective actions for product quality and workplace safety issues. * Ensure that all personnel working are adhering to Lipman’s Food Safety Guidelines. * Enforce SOP’s and SSOP’s, product inspections, HACCP, GMP’s. * Ensure pre-op inspections are satisfactory. * Monitor finished product retention samples. * Be alert of every factor that could alter optimal conditions of in spec products.

*QA Tech*

* Morning setup: turn on equipment; fill flume; inspect raw product * Quality assurance: monitor and control water chemicals (pH, chlorine, temperature); finished product inspection (tray, seal, code, box, pallet); retention samples; QA Logs (wash water, organoleptic logs, KPI, etc.) * Production support: sorting raw tomatoes, washing tomatoes for slicing, packing support

*Job details:*

* Full time * Overtime expected * Monday to Friday * Ability to work for extended periods of time in a refrigerated production environment (36-38 degrees).

*Compensation: *

* $18.35 an hour * After 1 year of employment 1 weeks’ vacation. * 5 sick days * Medical, Life, Dental, Vision
