Drive EE/SW integration across builds, managing ECU and network-level issues (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet) Validate bootloader, flashing, and software update processes (OTA or UDS-based) Oversee network bring-up, diagnostics, and DTC testing Ensure consistency across ICDs and network description files (DBC, LDF, FIBEX, ARXML) Review ECU software release notes for feature completeness and backward compatibility Coordinate SIL, HIL, and full vehicle integration testing Lead system-level test automation and regression coverage using dSPACE, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, ETAS LABCAR, or NI Veristand Ensure traceability of test results to system/software requirements Monitor power consumption, network load, wake/sleep cycles, and timing during integration Manage open issue dashboards (JIRA, ALM) and track root causes with engineering teams Support change management and version control using Git, SVN, or PTC tools Validate ASIL-level software components for ISO 26262 compliance Coordinate FMEA and DFMEA closure for integration-related issues Interface with EE design, software, calibration, and supplier teams to align dependencies Communicate integration readiness metrics (flash status, network stability, regression pass rates) to leadership Prepare gate review documentation highlighting technical maturity and risks Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Strong understanding of vehicle EE architecture, ECU software stacks, and automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) Experience with UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229) and diagnostic tools Skilled in MATLAB/Simulink model development and HIL execution using dSPACE ControlDesk and AutomationDesk Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and a solution-oriented mindset Familiar with embedded software, EE systems, and architecture Knowledge of A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS protocols and tools like CANalyzer, CANoe Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills with cross-functional collaboration Understanding of automotive development processes, system requirements, and engineering best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high integrity Compensation and Benefits
