Parts Warehouse Associate

This all starts with our greatest assetour employees. The Parts Warehouse Associate will be responsible for pulling stock orders for customers, technicians and other stores in the Yancey family. The Parts Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for daily cycle counts, maintaining a clean warehouse and using the man lifts in a safe manner. Primary responsibilities include performing and entering daily cycle counts, receiving all stock orders, inspecting worn cores before issuing credit, reviewing all part and core credits issued, building hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques, pulling all orders in a timely manner, maintaining a clean warehouse, processing and returning cores, responding to all warranty parts return requests, and purging unneeded items from warranty hold areas. Additional responsibilities include participating in required safety programs, working in a safe manner, and performing additional duties as assigned by the manager. To be successful in this position, you should be organized, show attention to detail and a sense of urgency. You should have basic computer skills, be safety conscious and willing to learn. The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well. Education/experience required: high school diploma or equivalent. Required qualifications/skills include obtaining forklift certification, ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive devices, willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions, attention to detail, basic computer skills, problem solving and multitasking, safety conscious and customer focused, and being self-driven and taking pride in your work.
