Our ACTT engineering team develops state-of-the-art cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command and control systems that support threat and weapon simulations. These advanced systems allow military pilots to practice combat maneuvers in the air without the risks or cost associated with firing live weapons. We specialize in designing secure Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) systems, guiding them from concept through accreditation, production, and installation. What You Will Do:
Lead the team in creating and maintaining system designs, interface definitions, requirements, analyses, trade studies, and other documentation Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with team members and customers Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with engineering leadership and program management to ensure the success of the program Perform Control Account Manager (CAM) duties utilizing earned value management methods, including bidding, planning, overseeing, and communicating project cost, schedule, and risk Guide and mentor in a flexible agile development environment Manage multiple competing tasks while balancing priorities Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or above security clearance Experience with the systems development process Experience making decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance Outstanding teamwork, organization, and communication skills Willing to travel up to 10% Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with system/subsystem-level architecture, design, requirements development, and documentation Working knowledge of military networking, communication, navigation, cybersecurity, or encryption systems or avionics data buses Experience with Model-Based Design (MBD)/Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw/Cameo, SysML, or Simulink Experience working with DOORS or Jama Background as a CAM using earned value management Experience coordinating the development of technical proposals and cost estimates during the bid and proposal phase Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience leading in an Scaled Agile environment using Jira tracking Familiarity with US export regulations: ITAR and EAR Earned an advanced STEM degree or MBA Currently hold a security clearance or have held one within the past two years Location Details:
