Who We Are:
Network Telecommunications Services: Responsible for connectivity and communications needs for the Institute. This includes network administration of routing, switching, unified communications, wireless and ISP connectivity. In addition, we manage AV operations and the telecom infrastructure inside/outside plant. Objectives of this Role:
Serve as primary network architect, working with existing network team to advise on network design and configuration. Deploy new network equipment and process break/fix requests. Develop logic for network automation systems. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Advise on network design and drive changes to meet that design. Configuration of routing and switching on network equipment from various manufacturers. Configuration of SNMP monitoring systems and network automation platforms. Documentation of network through drawings, formal documentation and change control process. Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related degree field with relevant experience. In lieu of Bachelors Degree, minimum 15 years directly related professional level network administrator experience with a minimum of Cisco Certified Network Professional or Aruba Certified Professional certification. 10 years: Enterprise network routing and switching. 10 years: Experience with SNMP monitoring and network automation systems. 10 years: Experience with Cisco, Aruba and/or Fortinet equipment. A valid/clear driver\'s license is required. Special Requirements:
