Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Scottsdale, AZ: Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Responsibilities
Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Qualifications
Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, and GIT; Node.js; JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Frameworks: Angular and React; REST; Kubernetes; Google Cloud Platform (GCP); MySQL and SQL; Typescript; Object-oriented JavaScript; Writing application code and deploying to production; Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases; Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; and Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end user feedback and human centered design. Compensation
Pay Range: $111,072.00/year to $140,000.00/year. This range represents the base salary for positions in the job grade. The actual base salary offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program. Benefits and Perks
