This position is located in Richmond, VA with a work schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The role supports multiple software products and brands across the organization, including Lender, CoStar Suites, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten-X. Responsibilities
Lead DevOps efforts to support multiple software products and brands across the organization. Automate and apply infrastructure-as-code practices to drive operational excellence. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and methods. Collaborate with IT and business teams, communicate effectively, and work as an individual contributor within a team. Support development and operations activities, including onboarding, training, and performance reviews as needed. Provide proactive leadership to motivate team members and report on team performance to management. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution. 8+ years experience managing heavy web traffic sites with a developer focus. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible). Infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar platforms. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Application load balancing technologies and SSL offloading; VIP/pool/node management. Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (APM, system metrics, synthetics, RUM). Heavy scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Groovy). Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases. Experience configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance and global traffic management. Familiarity with infrastructure components of large networks (systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi-datacenters). Nice-to-have
Programming languages or developer background (Java, C#, Python, NodeJS). Serverless architecture methodologies. Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation. Mobile application support (iOS, Android). Experience in REST API or microservices development. Experience with Agile methodologies and short sprints. Whats in it for You
