Summary

Source Alliance Network is looking for a Logistics Data Analyst to support our fast-growing enterprise. As a Logistics Data Analyst, you will have a significant impact on our business and the success of our customers.

You should have an interest in solving business challenges using data, gathering information needed to complete projects, and putting together data-driven case studies. The Logistics Data Analyst will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects across the department as capacity and skills permit. This will allow the Logistics Data Analyst to become proficient and further develop skills in transportation and data analysis applications needed to perform the required tasks. Additionally, the Logistics Data Analyst will be expected to perform various mathematical calculations to determine how data samples may be best applied to profit the organization and meet customer needs.

What You Will Do:

• Compile data from multiple systems and create customized reports for internal and external users.
• Maintain system integrity with detailed analysis and a high level of data accuracy.
• Manage reporting functionality by streamlining existing reports and developing additional metrics.
• Assist with setting up pricing in our Transportation Management System (TMS) and customer-specific pricing setups and changes.
• Produce timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Coordinate vendor and client communications.
• Create RFP bids, analyze proposals received, and negotiate pricing.
• Troubleshoot pricing issues.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as business demands are deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 2 years’ experience in logistics, supply planning, or supply chain-related areas.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required (Pivots, Vlookups, and basic formulas).
• Proficiency in Power BI is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (phone, email, and meetings).
• A high degree of versatility, good interpersonal skills, and excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Working Conditions:

Sedentary role with a fast-paced work environment. Open floor plan with moderate noise. Must be able to use a computer and phone to conduct business. This includes the ability to use hands, talk, see, and hear.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
