NCW is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background to lead and manage projects effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, subcontract management, and client communication. This role demands a skilled leader who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: including but not limited to

  • Manage all phases of civic and/or K-12 commercial construction projects, ensuring delivery within established timelines and budgets

  • Negotiate, write, and execute subcontract agreements with a clear understanding of project scope and risk

  • Read, interpret, and apply drawings and specifications to ensure constructability and compliance

  • Coordinate with project teams and clients to maintain open communication and resolve issues promptly

  • Utilize project management software and tools such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore to track progress and manage documentation

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery

  • Ensure compliance with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a construction project manager, specifically in commercial construction

  • Professional degree preferred in construction management, architecture, mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, interior design, or business administration

  • Detailed understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and constructability

  • Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

  • Strong negotiation and subcontract management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook), MS Project, and Procore

  • Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and a strong commitment to client service

  • Valid Driver’s License
